There’s just something sensual about chocolate-dipped strawberries! In celebration of Libido Week, we have done a JSHealth take on this romantic treat using cacao-rich dark chocolate.

With each one you bite into, the hard shell of velvety chocolate gives way to the juicy sweetness of in-season strawberries beneath. Simple, yet truly delightful!

Ingredients

· 100g dark chocolate
· 1 punnet strawberries, approximately 200g
· Handful of pistachios, roughly chopped, optional

To melt the dark chocolate, fill a small saucepan with 2cm of water and bring to a gentle simmer. Place a heat-proof bowl on top, making sure the base of the bowl doesn’t touch the water. Ingredients

  • 3 cups (400g) frozen bananas
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup coconut cream
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped mint leaves 
  • 2 serves JSHealth Pure Matcha+

To serve

  • 50g (1.7oz) dark chocolate, grated

Method

Combine all of the ingredients in a high powered blender and blend until smooth. You may need to scrape down the sides and few times to ensure the ingredients are evenly incorporated. 

Pour the nice-cream into a lined loaf tin. Use a spatula to spread the mixture until smooth and flat. 

Freeze for 2-3 hours or until set. 

Serve in your favourite ice-cream cone or bowl and top with grated
